Can I distribute AI-generated music or AI songs through Tune X?

Yes, AI-generated songs may be distributed through Tune X provided you hold full commercial licensing for the AI tools used, contain no unauthorized voice clones or celebrity impersonations, and strictly follow streaming store quality and disclosure rules.

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before using the Tune X Music Distribution services. By signing up and uploading your music, you legally agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Grant of Rights & Content Lock

You grant Tune X Music Distribution the non-exclusive right to sell, copy, distribute, and stream your music on digital services (such as Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, YouTube, etc.) worldwide. "Non-exclusive" means you are free to distribute *other* new songs with other distributors.

However, any specific release successfully distributed through Tune X Music is subject to a mandatory 1-year content lock. You cannot transfer, re-upload, or distribute the *same* release with another distributor during this period. Attempting to bypass this lock will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all pending royalties.

2. Copyright & Ownership

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your master recordings, compositions, and artwork. Tune X Music does not claim any ownership of your content. You are simply giving us permission to distribute it on your behalf.

3. Prohibited Content, Artificial Streaming & DSP Penalties

You must own or have verified legal rights to upload all audio, metadata, and artwork. Tune X maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for:

Copyright Infringement: Uploading songs, beats, instrumental stems, samples, or vocals you do not own or have not legally licensed.
Artificial Streaming & Fraud: Utilizing bots, click-farms, script-automated loops, account manipulation, or paying third-party "playlisting/streaming boost" promotional services that generate fraudulent, non-organic plays.
Pass-Through of DSP Fines & Penalties: Major DSPs (including Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer) actively monitor and penalize artificial streaming (such as Spotify's mandatory €10 / track fine on releases flagged for flagrant artificial streaming). You explicitly agree that any monetary penalties, administrative fees, or royalty chargebacks levied by DSPs against Tune X will be charged back directly to your account, deducted from existing or future royalties, and you shall remain personally liable for any remaining balance.
No Third-Party Ignorance Defense: Claiming ignorance of a promotional company's fraudulent bot methods does not excuse liability. You are 100% legally and financially responsible for all marketing campaigns associated with your releases.

4. AI-Generated Music & Synthetic Voice Policy

In accordance with global industry standards (including Believe Music and major DSP guidelines), Tune X permits music assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, subject to the following strict conditions:

Prohibition on 100% Fully Synthetic Bulk Audio: Releases that are 100% autonomous machine generations with zero human creative input, or mass-generated functional audio clips designed to manipulate royalty pools, are strictly barred from distribution. Music must involve meaningful human creative direction, licensed inputs, and verifiable authorship.
Commercial Rights Required: You must own or hold the explicit, unencumbered commercial license for any AI-generated audio, instrumentals, or stems (e.g., active paid commercial subscription plans of Suno, Udio, Boomy, etc.). Content generated under free, trial, personal, or educational licenses from AI platforms is strictly prohibited from commercial distribution.
No Voice Cloning or Unauthorized Impersonation: Uploading tracks featuring synthetic voice models, cloned vocals, or deepfakes imitating real artists, celebrities, or public figures without verified written legal consent is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate permanent suspension and track takedown.
Original Inputs & Lyrics: All text prompts, lyrics, melodies, and creative compositions fed into or outputted by AI generators must not infringe on existing copyrighted lyrics, musical compositions, or literary works.
DSP AI Disclosures & Metadata: You agree to provide accurate metadata tags indicating AI involvement where required by digital service providers (such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube).
Full Artist Liability & Takedown: If an AI-generated release is flagged, struck, or taken down by a streaming platform due to copyright infringement, trademark violation, or unauthorized synthetic voice usage, you assume 100% legal and financial liability, and Tune X reserves the right to immediately terminate the account and withhold associated royalties.

5. YouTube Content ID & Audio Fingerprinting Ineligibility

Digital fingerprinting systems (YouTube Content ID, Facebook/Instagram Rights Manager, TikTok Audio Library) scan billions of uploads. To prevent fraudulent copyright strikes against innocent third parties worldwide, the following content types are STRICTLY INELIGIBLE for audio fingerprinting monetization:

AI-Generated Music: Any audio composed, rendered, or assisted by generative AI models.
Non-Exclusive Beats & Leased Instrumentals: Beats purchased or leased with non-exclusive licenses (e.g., from Beatstars, Splice, Looperman, YouTube Type Beats).
Generic Ambient & Sound Effects: Nature sounds, rain, binaural beats, white noise, meditation soundscapes, or public domain recordings.
Karaoke & Cover Instrumentals: Soundalike recordings, tribute tracks, or backing loops.

Attempting to monetize ineligible audio via Content ID will result in immediate and permanent revocation of your Content ID monetization privileges, potential takedown of your releases, and liability for all resulting damages.

6. Metadata & Artwork Standards

All releases must comply with DSP delivery style guides:

No Fake Features: Misleadingly listing famous or uncredited artists as primary or featuring artists without their documented collaboration is considered metadata fraud.
No Keyword Stuffing: Track or album titles containing spam keywords (e.g., "Relaxing Sleep Beats Chill Study Music") will be rejected.
Cover Artwork Compliance: Cover art must not include Digital Service Provider logos (e.g., Spotify or Apple Music logos), website URLs, social media handles, phone numbers, barcodes, or pricing information.

7. Royalties & Payouts

We collect revenue from stores and pay it to you according to your active plan:

Starter Plan (Free): You receive 50% of the net royalties.
Label Plan (Standard): You receive 80% of the net royalties.
White-Label Plan (Regular): You receive 90% of the net royalties.
White-Label Pro Plan: You receive 95% of the net royalties.

Payouts are processed based on the aggregator's timeline and are remitted quarterly (May 15th, Aug 15th, Nov 15th, Feb 15th). You may request withdrawal of your earnings once they reach the minimum threshold via Bank Transfer or UPI.

Sub-Label Policy: For users operating under White-Label (Regular) or White-Label Pro plans who create sub-labels, Tune X does not manage or support these sub-labels. The parent Main Label is solely responsible for handling the administration, support, and royalty payouts of their sub-labels.

8. Takedowns & Refunds

You cannot request to remove (takedown) or transfer your music from Tune X Music during the initial 1-year lock period. Following this period, takedowns may be requested. All fees for premium plans (including one-time payments and yearly recurring subscription fees) are strictly non-refundable once the service has started or an account has been upgraded, as outlined in our Refund Policy.

9. Liability & Indemnification

Tune X Music is not responsible for any third-party claims against your music. If we are sued because you uploaded copyrighted material without permission or engaged in fraud, you agree to fully indemnify and cover all legal costs, fines, and damages incurred by Tune X Music.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of arbitration in Bhadrak/Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
